You can sign up as a MAI Trader without documents however, after completing the sign-up process, you will need to build your profile. To do so, you are required to submit at least two documents from the following options:

  1. A driving licence
  2. Passport
  3. Business document
  4. Stripe vendor document

These documents are necessary for the verification and authentication of your Trader profile.

To post Projects on MAI, you must have a Project Owner account. Please note that you need a separate email-id to create both Trader and Project Owner accounts.

Yes, it is mandatory. MAI has partnered with Stripe Payment Service. After registering as a MAI Trader, you will receive an email directly from Stripe. The email will contain an invitation to open a Stripe account. Click on the invitation and complete the formalities to enable receiving payments for your Projects directly.

After logging into your MAI Trader account, navigate to the 'Projects' button in the page header to access the list of Projects. From there, you can send Proposals to the Projects you are interested in by clicking 'Send Proposal'. Alternatively, you can click 'View Project' to see the Project description and then proceed to 'Send Proposal'.

The 'Send Proposal' button becomes visible only after the Trader completes updating their profile following the sign-up process. This is necessary for us to verify the documents uploaded to your profile. Once this verification is completed, the 'Send Proposal' button will be enabled and visible for use.

Yes, you can edit your sent Proposal by accessing the 'Edit Proposal' option, which will be disabled once the customer accepts it. Currently, you can submit multiple Proposals for the same Project. However, please note that there will be an upcoming update where you can send a Proposal only once for each Project. Stay tuned for further updates.
